When we formed ALTIDO, there was one thing that bound our destinations together implicity; our strong and unique collection of individual urban and vacation rental homes, tastefully and thoughtfully decorated by their wonderful owners, situated in unbeatable locations. Because of this, they come with a unique stamp of personalisation and a really high quality finish.

So why did we call it ‘Marco’?

The infamous Marco Polo was best known for his accomplishments as a world traveler and pioneer in expanding trade routes, heavily influencing writers, cartographers and the way in which we travel today. Every short stay apartment we step foot into around the world has been in some way influenced by Marco Polo, wether it be the map that led you there, the persian rug on the floor, or the travel book on the coffee table, so we thought it quite fitting the large majority of our collection is dedicated to his efforts.
